Beauty is a whim of nature. You can't buy it, you can't pay it, you can't cheat it, and you can't get away from it either.
Almost everything this age does with beauty looks to me like an attempt to take that job over, to arrange it and correct it and have it produced on request.
So I don't know which way round it is. Is what we call beautiful changing, or are we the ones changing? I have been turning that over for a long time and I still don't have an answer.
