Light is everywhere. You don't need to buy it and you don't need to rent it. If you can see, it is already there in front of your eyes.
I would rather work with whatever a place already has than with the light I brought myself. The light in the room, or on the street, or coming through somebody's window at four in the afternoon.
I was in the city with her and I watched one window for a long time before I understood how to frame it. Most of the work is that. The rest is waiting for someone to stop performing for the camera.
